About Bethesda Academy of Health
Bethesda Academy of Health is privately owned and established as an LLC by a group of health, fiscal, educational, and other professionals based in Florida and New York. Our vision is to improve the education in our communities by offering healthcare-related training skills. These skills will lead an individual to gainful employment in advanced careers. We offer flexible schedules for the working adult, with day, evening, and weekend classes available.

Educational Objectives
It is the goal of Bethesda Academy of Health to provide healthcare facilities with compassionate, dedicated, and trustworthy providers in this revolutionizing healthcare society. Our program aims to:
- Align training fundamentals with current market and industry demands
- Provide health education awareness to surrounding communities to improve healthy living and socioeconomic outcomes
- Equip students with the mental and technical competencies necessary to obtain certifications and positions in allied healthcare fields.
Facility
Bethesda Academy of Health training physical facility is located at … Fort Lauderdale in Broward County Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is properly lighted, heated, cooled, and ventilated throughout all common areas and classrooms. The building, lobby, offices, and restrooms are accessible for all students with physical disabilities. The facility is a commercial facility with many other businesses. The grounds are well-maintained with ample parking. Our facility is in a safe area, and we take all reasonable steps to ensure student safety. As a non-residential facility, we do not provide housing for students. Our business area is smoke-free.
There is one combination lab/classrooms in our facility. the lab/classroom is dedicated to Nursing Assistant training. It contains a life-sized mannequin, patient bed, and general nurse aide supplies, including blood pressure cuffs, bedpans, and transfer belts. In addition, the class and lab areas are adequate, safe, and conducive to quality training. All equipment is up to date with current field requirements and is regularly inspected, well-maintained, and replaced as needed. Drinks and food are not allowed in lab areas. Students are responsible for cleaning up after themselves.
The classes will mainly be taught online. Also, for students who will attend physically, the classes will be taught at ….. Clinical will be for a period of two weeks at …… Also, there will be online test preparation immediately after the clinical is over.
Career Placement
BAH does not currently offer career placement service to our graduates. However, many health providers will send us their list of available positions that will be displayed in our lobby where students will be able to apply for the positions on their own.
Financial Aid
Call BAH to inquire about Financial Aid available through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federally funded program. WIOA funds are available for dislocated workers, low-income individuals & out-of-school youth. The funds are administered specifically through services geared toward helping disadvantaged citizens obtain meaningful employment.

- Job Shadowing/Work Experience
COVID-19 Policy
All students are required to show a fully vaccinated record or negative COVID test by the first day of class. The negative COVID test must be recent within 1 week prior to the class start date. Nursing Assistant students must be fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption documentation.
